There are several different types of domain names. All are important to the buisness domain names.,in this topic i will give you some ideas for domain names types

1-Letters Domain Names

 The length of a domain name plays very important role in the value it will command. 

-2 letter domains : LL.com

 -3 letters domains:  LLL.com

 -4 letters domains : LLLL.com

-5 letter domains: LLLLL.com

2-One word Domain Name :

Words that are in the dictionary are considered to be of a higher value. Any name that means anything has long been taken. There are names available such as played.com or shemale.com. Do not be be fool by the  allure of buying a name because it is in the dictionary. 

3-Location Domain Names :

Names such as ChicagoComputerService.com or AtlantaTaxiService.com are considered location names. Some of these can be extremely valuable but it is very difficult to determine the value. With the right buyer, it can be a gold mine but you are looking for fast and easy sells.   

The exceptions to this rule are

      1.     The location Vegas

     2.     2 total words will require review. (example  ChicagoLaptop.com)

Location names for the specific name (Usa.com or Japan.com) are extremely expensive.

4-Generic Domain Names :

 Examples include StockMarket.com or Market.com. These names are very expensive and you cannot pick one of these.

5-Generic-Plus Domain Names :

Adding a word at the beginning or ending of a Generic name makes a Generic-Plus Name. Examples would be StockSalesmarket.com or EzineWord.com. 

Many of these are there for the taking and will be a large portion of our portfolio.

6-Expired Domain Names :

About 20,000 names expire every day. The lists are available free of charge but are overwhelming to search through. (will be covered in the expired name section)

Expired domains are good for a few reasons. 

   “  They can be names that have traffic from their existence before  expiration. 

   “  They can be good names that have fallen through the cracks of   someone’s business 

   “  They represent names that someone was willing to buy before. 

You will be given a set of tools that will help you deal with the list and that will extract the good names from that list.

7-Hot Topic Domain Names :

Hot topic domains are ones that focus on the current world. Hurricane names, Super bowl Champs and many others. 

These can be very valuable if you find the exact match.

  Interest in domains like these is VERY short lived. If you ever get the fever and have to buy one, buy it early and sell it quick.

Hot topics can be very tricky and therefore 

8-Misspells Domains :

Misspells are names that obviously are almost spelled corectly.   Some examples of this might be: VedioCenter.com or VideoCenter.com (did you notice the misspell of correctly in the sentence?)

Some Misspell words can be valued very highly but most are useless property. 

the most popular Misspells Domain is Youtube.com  & Utube.com (very big proplems happened between the owners because misspells traffic between the 2 domains

9-New Products, Technology and News Domains :

When new products hit the market, World news is happening or new technology is emerging, Domain names can become very valuable to the speculator. For example, when StockMarket began to gain momentum I bought several StockMarket domain names for very nice profits.  You have to be careful with new products or technology names because they may only be a hot topic name. On the other hand, what if you bought mp3player.com at the start of that. ?
